As you reach the town of San Felipe the road curves around
the right side of the main arches and heads east towards the sea.
Stay on this main road (Calzada Chetumal) until you see
La Hacienda de la Langosta Roja on your left.
Details and observation points to assist you:
Stay on the main road. You will pass the large Pemex gas station on your
right and go to the first “Alto” stop sign at Mar de Las Flores.
Stop and proceed counterclockwise (right) around the large traffic circle
(trees and grass in the center). You will soon pass a street on your right,
Avenida Mar Caribe and a Pemex gas station approximately ½ way
around (there is a much larger Pemex station on the other side of the
circle so don’t get confused.)
Angle right on the main street after the gas station while
continuing east towards the Sea on Calzada Chetumal. You’ll notice
a bright yellow auto parts building on your left.
You will proceed through a series of “Alto”
stop signs at the intersections of Mar Jonico, Mar Bermejo (Mercado Sinai
is on the corner), Mar Blanco (Margiamos Pizza store on the right and
Movistar cellular telephone office on the left.) Just keep going straight
after stopping at these stop signs.
At the bottom of the
hill you will stop at the next “Alto” sign at a 3-way intersection.
Proceed through the intersection and make an immediate left onto the road
(the road has no name). Proceed down this road and you will see the Hacienda
de la Langosta Roja building on the right.
